Easy Nutritious Dark Chocolate Chip Banana Oatmeal Cookies Recipe


⁣⁣Mini story!  Prior to opening Integrity Massage Therapy, as a life-long learner, Sarah Middendorf completed several holistic nutrition courses for fun.  Part of her studies involved creating a nutritious (yet delicious!) recipe to share with others—here it is!

Ingredients:

  • 3 ripe bananas⁣⁣
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened organic applesauce⁣⁣
  • 1/4 cup almond milk⁣⁣
  • 1 tsp vanilla⁣⁣
  • 1/2 tsp organic cinnamon⁣⁣
  • 2 cups organic, non-GMO rolled oats⁣⁣
  • 1/4 cup organic dark chocolate chips (can substitute or add 1/4 cup pumpkin seeds)⁣

Directions:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees Celsius⁣⁣
  • Mash bananas in a bowl then mix in remaining wet ingredients⁣⁣
  • Add in remaining dry ingredients and mix well⁣⁣
  • Scoop onto baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 20 minutes⁣⁣
  • Transfer cookies onto cooling rack⁣⁣
  • Once cooled, store cookies in a sealed container in refrigerator or freezer⁣⁣
