Viviana has received her Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Kinesiology & Health Science from York University in 2019. She has also been a Registered Kinesiologist (R.Kin) since 2020, in good standing with the COKO. She has most recently received her Master of Practice Diploma in Osteopathic Manual Sciences (M.OMSc.) from the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy. She is also a member of the Ontario Osteopathic Association (OSTCAN).
Her health journey began at a young age while doing competitive dance for over 10 years, through which she became interested in the human body. After suffering from a ballet-related hip injury, it was the care she received from multiple healthcare practitioners that made her realize she too wanted to help people regain and restore their health. After discovering Osteopathy, she understood the importance of treating patients using a full-body holistic approach to find the root cause of the problem, affecting all musculoskeletal and visceral systems by facilitating proper blood flow and fluid dynamics.
Aside from her undergraduate background, her osteopathic education and training have now given her a deeper understanding of anatomy and physiology, with focus to restore the body’s structure and function in order to self-heal and self-regulate.
Outside of the clinic, you can find Viviana spending time with family and friends, cooking up a new Pinterest dinner recipe, dancing whenever possible, hanging out at the beach in the summer, and researching her next vacation destination!
